Greetings from SMU’s Office of Postgraduate Research Programmes! Hope everyone is doing well!
Our applications for the August 2021 intake opened on 1 August 2020. The closing date for applications is 31 January 2021.
To share again, these are the SMU PhD programmes that we offer:
- PhD in Business [specialisations: Finance, Marketing, Organisational Behaviour & Human Resources, Operations Management, and Strategic Management & Organisation]
Our PhD programmes are open to students with at least a Bachelor’s degree. We also have PhD candidates who have completed their Master’s degrees too.
As we had also shared, full-funded scholarships are provided to successful PhD candidates. The scholarships cover registration and subsidised tuition fees, as well as provide monthly stipends – for the first 4 years. In the 5th year, SMU provides continued support to PhD candidates through research assistantships, teaching assistantships, graduate instructor positions and faculty members’ industry grants.
Due to the current situation, my office will be organising a virtual information session on Zoom on Wed, 7 Oct 2020 between 4.00pm and 6.00pm (Singapore time). At this session, each of the PhD Programme Directors will share about the relevant programmes.
